Did you know?....

I LOVE to bake and cook and one of my favs is a quick batch of pumpkin pancakes! (recipe here)... The problem is that I often forget to buy buttermilk and when I do, I always end up throwing most of it out! ... I can't justify eating THAT many batches of pancakes people!



So.... I found out you can FREEZE! buttermilk! WOOT! So today I just poured my leftover buttermilk into the icecube trays and then will throw them into a ziplock and I will have pancakes whenever I want them! ...oh and I do the same thing with the pumpkin, open a can, measure out 2 tbsp into a ziplock and freeze (what the recipe calls for)... so if your New Year's resolution is to spend less, waste less or just be greener, freeze!
